Harley-Davidson Fat Boy now Rs 4.5 lakhs cheaper in India
Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Special now Rs 4.5 lakhs cheaper in India. Harley Davidson Fat Boy and Fat Boy Special models will be priced at Rs. 14.9 lakh and Rs. 15.6 lakh respectively and will be equipped with a 1690 cc twin cam 103 engine.
Harley Davidson sells 12 models in Indian markets and in order to cut import duty costs, the manufacturer has decided to locally assemble 9 of these models. Apart from this decision, Harley Davidson fans in India have a reason to celebrate as three new models will be joining the CKD lineup for India. These models include, Harley Davidson Fat Boy, Harley Davidson Fat Boy Special and Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic.
Harley Davidson Fat Boy and Fat Boy Special models will be priced at Rs. 14.9 lakh and Rs. 15.6 lakh respectively and will be equipped with a 1690 cc twin cam 103 engine. Though engine specifications are similar, these models are totally different look wise. Described as a Retro masterpiece the Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic is priced at Rs. 16.25 lakh and will be powered by a 1690cc twin cam 103 engine. A complete retro look compliments the bike which has been designed for long distance cruises along open roads. Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail® Classic is now available for Rs.16.25 Lakh (ex- showroom Delhi) as against the previous CBU price of Rs. 20.45 Lakhs. Harley-Davidson Fat Boy® Special will be offered at Rs 15.6 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) as against the previous CBU price of 19.70 Lakh. HD Fat Boy® will now be offered at Rs 14.9 Lakh (ex- showroom Delhi) as against the earlier CBU price of Rs. 19.45 Lakh.
